Chapter 66

Chapter 66

“I’m looking for emergency items, gold or cash!”
After the death penalty was over, Golking logged into Legendary and immediately set up shop. Not long after he started his business, he was approached by a user.
“How much for this?”

Limit: 400 Strength, 500 Health
Physical Defense: 450
Life +700
Armor made of steel, cold.
Golking checked the options for the armor you posted. The armor was only worth 50 gold.
“Hmm. I’ll give you 35 gold!”
“Thirty-five gold?”
“Yes.”
“Oh.”
The user looked around with a puzzled look and voice, and then muttered in a low voice: “I’m not sure what to do.
“Why aren’t you following along today…”
Then he looked at Golking with a look of helplessness on his face.
“I’m selling.”
“Yes, thank you!”
The user who sold the armor then quickly disappeared from the central plaza. The Golking smiled as he watched the user’s back. Then he looked around.
“After all, there’s no competition.
There were no users around the Golking buying items from the Quickstop.
‘Business is good. Hmph’
With no competition, business was going so well. And that’s when a user approached Golking.
“You said you’re buying an item, right?”
“Yes! I’m purchasing an expedited item. Gold, cash, both.”
The Golking smiled and nodded. The Golking then looked at the item you had posted and said, “I’m sorry.
“Your options are a bit limited, how about 60 gold?”
“Um… Yeah… I’ll sell it to you for 60 gold.”
The user hesitated for a moment, then sighed and said, “I’ll take it. The Golking smiled again as he watched the user sell the item and disappear.
“I’m buying an emergency item, gold or cash!”
The Golking began to shout for items again. With no competition, quite a few users approached him, and he was able to purchase quite a few items.
“Shovel… huh?”
Golking was doing his business when he spotted a user and looked a little surprised.
“Hey, you want to buy an item?”
One of the users approached Golking and asked him a question, but he didn’t even look at her, just kept walking.
“No.”
“What?”
“No problem.”
With that, Golking said, and began to run at a fast pace.
“That’s when I knew it was him!
It was clear that this was a user who had sold dozens of machines in the first meeting, and hundreds in the second.
“I thought you said Minghu…?
When the Golking was near Ming Hu, he slowed his pace to a crawl and began to walk slowly toward him. As he neared Ming Hu, their eyes met, and the Golking smiled and exclaimed, “Ming Hu, I’m here!
“Hello!”
“Ah! Hi.”
“Are you here because…”
“I’m getting rid of some equipment.”
“Hmph.
Golking looked at Ming Hu, who was smiling at him, and began to chuckle sinisterly to himself.
* * * * *
Siaak
With the light, Ming Hu arrived at the main square of Demesne.
“I’m buying a longsword worthy of 90 warriors!”
“Sells all sorts of nav scrolls!”
“Selling a dagger with a 300 strength and 300 health limit!”
Many users were buying and selling items. Ming Hu looked around. He looked around to see if anyone was buying or selling items.
“Nothing.”
They must be out there, but they weren’t around. Ming Hu began to wander around, looking for users who were buying items from the shop.
“Buy an emergency item!”
After a while, Ming Hu was able to find a user who was buying an emergency item, but even though it was the user he was looking for, Ming Hu could only shake his head.
“It’s not a gold bar.
No guild markings were visible above the user’s head. What Ming Hu was looking for was a gold bar vendor.
Jumbled
Ming Hu wandered around a bit more.
“Huh?
As Ming Hu wandered around, he soon spotted a user with a gold bar mark on his head, who was approaching him with a smile on his face.
“Hello!”
“Ah! Hi.”
“Are you here because…”
“I’m getting rid of some equipment.”
“Oh, right!”
Ming Hu recognized the user who smiled at him.
“Mr. Golking, do you still buy rush items these days?”
“Yes! You’re going to sell it to me?”
The Golking asked, his eyes flashing for a moment. Ming Hu looked at the Golking, still smiling, and nodded his head slightly.
“Oh, can I see what they are?”
At the Golking’s words, Ming Hu made a deal with the Golking. He placed eight solid steel swords on the trading table.
“Eight for starters!”
“Options… nice!”
Ming Hu said nothing at Golking’s words. The Golking seemed to think for a moment, then opened his mouth to speak.
“How about 100 gold per sack?”
Golking has earned 800 gold.
“Good.”
Ming Hu happily confirmed and sold eight hilts of solid steel swords for 800 gold.
‘How much did I get… 768 gold!’
It costs 4 gold to make a solid steel sword. It cost 32 gold to make 8 hilts, but you received 800 gold for selling 8 hilts. I made a profit of 768 gold in one trade. And that’s not all.
“Do you have any more?”
Golking asked.
“Yes, we have!”
This was the beginning. Ming Hu made another deal with the Golking. He raised his eight solid steel swords again.
“Oh, another solid steel sword?”
“Yes, and the price?”
“100 gold as before!”
“Great!”
Ming Hu pressed Confirm again to finalize the transaction once the 800 gold was up. He looked at Golking, who was smiling broadly.
“I have more solid steel swords, would you like to buy all of them for 100 gold?”
“Oh, there’s more, I’ll buy them all!”
When the Golking offered to buy them all, Ming Hu quickly made a deal. As he had done before, he offered eight solid steel swords.
As the sword came up, the Golking began to check the sword’s options, and when everything was in order, he raised the price to 800 gold. Ming Hu pressed confirm to finalize the transaction, and so it went on, selling all 75 hilts of solid steel swords.
You sold 75 hilts of solid steel swords and received 7500 gold. The materials to make the 75 hilts cost 300 gold, for a profit of 7200 gold.
“Now I’ve sold one type…
The problem was, that wasn’t the end of it.
“Wow. 75 sacks. I really wonder where you got them!”
Golking said with a curious look on his face. Ming Hu didn’t say anything, just turned back to the Golkings and made his offer.
“Huh? Do you have anything else to sell?”
“Yeah, that’s a lot today.”
With that, Ming Hu muttered and raised eight glowing steel swords. Of course, there are different options for glowing steel swords. Therefore, the lowest-quality glowing steel swords were posted first.
“Wow. That’s really good.”
“How much of this can you give me?”
“Hmm.”
Ming Hu’s words made Golking think for a moment, and then he spoke.
“110 gold!”
At the same time, 880 gold was posted. Ming Hu pressed confirm to finalize the trade. Then he placed another trade, just like he had been doing all along.
“Do you happen to know how many glowing steel swords you have?”
As you held up the eight glowing steel swords, Golking said, “880 gold. Ming Hu pressed OK to complete the transaction and opened his inventory.
“That’s 54 sacks left.”
“Aha, I see.”
For some reason, the Golking looked relieved. Ming Hu traded again and raised eight glowing steel swords.
“…Huh?”
Checking the options for the glowing steel sword, the Golking exclaimed in a panicked voice.
“I like the four-sack option better, don’t you?”
“Oh. Yeah.”
“Hmm. I’ll give you five more gold for the better option.””Great!”
I felt like I could have gotten more, but Ming Hu just started selling items at a rapid pace for whatever the golkings were asking.
“Wow. 70 swords! 145 swords, including a solid steel sword! That’s a lot of swords you have!”
The Golking said, “I’ve sold all my glowing steel swords. Ming Hu looked at the Golking and made another deal.
“More… Do you have?”
“Yes.”
“Fifty-six sacks.”
“Oh, that’s a glowing steel sword.”
“Oh.”
Ming Hu placed 8 Cold Steel Swords on the trading floor.
“…something’s wrong.
Golking looked up and saw the cold steel sword and Ming Hu, and he felt something was wrong. He was clearly hitting the jackpot, but something in the back of his mind was uneasy.
“But…
I didn’t want to miss out on the jackpot due to anxiety. Golking said as he placed 880 gold on the trade window.
“I’ll give you 110 gold per sack. How many sacks do you have? I’ll buy them all.”
