Chapter 35

Chapter 35

“I can’t believe it.”
Ming Hu couldn’t believe his eyes.
“20200 gold…”
When I first sold my swords, bows, and crossbows, I didn’t think I’d end up like this, but now I had 20,200 gold sitting in my inventory. 20,200 gold was worth $200,000 in cash.
“Over 200 million… Over.”
Of course, there are fees for cashing out, but once he crossed the 200 million mark, Ming Hu couldn’t help but smile.
“We’re almost there.”
I didn’t expect it to be so easy. It wasn’t a few hundred thousand dollars, it was 200 million. I didn’t think 200 million would come so quickly. No, even now, Ming Hu couldn’t believe it, but even if he couldn’t believe it, he still had 20,000 gold in his inventory.
“By the way, I need to get rid of those, too.”
Ming Hu muttered to himself as he looked at the Great Fox’s inner dagger, the Monstrous Fox’s skin, and other items that occupied a corner of his inventory.
“What should I do first?”
Ming Hu first debated whether to sell the miscellaneous items or cash in the gold.
“I’m not going to have enough money after fees. I’ll have to sell those first.”
After much deliberation, Ming Hu decides to sell the miscellaneous items first. If he exchanged the gold for cash, he wouldn’t reach 200 million because of the fees. However, if he sold the miscellaneous items, he would have more gold, and if he exchanged it for cash, he could definitely reach 200 million.
Jumbled
Ming Hu stepped out of the auction house, saw the signpost, and began walking toward the cluster of shops.
“Wow. That’s a lot.”
When Ming Hu arrived at his destination, his jaw dropped at the sight of so many shops. Ming Hu was unsure of which store to enter, so he went to the largest of the many, Riona’s General Store.
Woof, woof, woof
“Orc teeth for sale, bulk welcome!”
“I buy monster tails. I don’t care what kind.”
The general store was not as crowded as the auction house or the main plaza, but it was still full of users. Ming Hu pushed past them and approached Riona, the general store owner.
“Welcome!”
“Yes, hello.”
From his inventory, Ming Hu took out the inner end of the Great Fox and the hide, tail, and claws of the Monstrous Fox and placed them on the counter.
“Oh!”
Riona looked quite surprised at the four items Ming Hu had placed before her, and began to examine them, starting with the inner hem, then the hide, then the tail, then the claws.
“Yikes.”
With the last of her claws, Riona looked at Ming Hu with a brief look of admiration, then smiled and said to him, “You’re right.
“This is the inner circle of the great fox, and this is the hide, tail, and claws of the monster fox!”
“Yes, how much can you give me?”
“I’ll give you 20 gold for the inner harness, 230 gold for the hide, 130 gold for the tail, and 140 gold for the claws.”
Upon hearing the price, Ming Hu pulled out all of the Great Fox’s inner parts, as well as the hide, tail, and claws of the Monstrous Fox from his inventory.
“I’m selling everything here.”
“10 Great Fox’s Inner Hem for 200 gold, 18 Monstrous Fox’s Pelt for 4140 gold, 10 Monstrous Fox’s Steel Tail for 1300 gold, and 9 Monstrous Fox’s Steel Claws for 1260 gold for a total of 6600 gold.”
Riona hands you a pouch containing 6600 gold. Ming Hu took the pouch and immediately put it into his inventory. With no further business in the Chapter, Ming Hu stepped outside and began walking toward the auction house.
Jumbled
Ming Hu walked to the auction house and opened his inventory to check the gold.
‘…26800 gold’
Even without the commission, the gold was worth more than 200 million. Ming Hu smiled and sped up his pace toward the auction house.
“I’m buying an emergency item! Gold, cash, both!”
Soon, Ming Hu arrived at the auction house and quickly began to look around for users who were buying gold.
“Full for 1 gold, minimum 50 gold, maximum 400 gold.”
Ming Hu immediately ran to the user and asked for a trade.
“How much do you sell?”
The trade window then appears and the user asks Ming Hu. Ming Hu wordlessly posted 400 gold in the trade window. After Ming Hu posted 400 gold, the user also posted 4 million miles in the trade window.
“Enjoy.”
Soon, the transaction was over and the user who bought the gold started walking away. Ming Hu opened his inventory. The mileage field was empty, but now it had 3.8 million miles.
‘The fee is 200,000 won…’
The 5% fee was a bargain considering the taxes were included, but when I realized that $200,000 was gone in taxes, I realized I had wasted something.
“1 gold for 500 gold!”
Ming Hu immediately rushed over to the user and placed the trade, earning 500 gold. Once he had 5 million miles, Ming Hu hit confirm to complete the trade.
“Let’s put it up for auction.”
Opening his inventory to see how much gold he had left, Ming Hu frowned slightly and muttered to himself. I’ve sold 900 gold. The remaining gold was 25900 gold.
Jumbled
Ming Hu walked up to the Auction House NPC and pulled up the purchase board to see the in-game money section.
“Up to $9,000…”
There were no posts about buying gold for more than 9,000 won per gold. The maximum was 9,000 won. Ming Hu closed the buying board and opened the selling board to check the in-game money section.
“Sales start at $1,500.”
Ming Hu thought for a moment, then handed the NPC 25,000 gold, posted an automatic sale at 10,000 per gold, closed the sale board, and opened his inventory.
“That’s really neat.”
I had nothing in my inventory except 2 uniques, 900 gold, a travel scroll, and a chest from Gadergu.
Sigh
Ming Hu glanced down to check his mileage.
“8.65 million.”
Two transactions brought in $8.65 million. Ming Hu smiled and stared at the mileage.
“Oh, this is not the time.”
When Ming Hu woke up, he opened the transaction status window.

“Even if it only sells for this price.”
Ming Hu swallowed hard as he looked at the bid amount. Even if it sold for the current bid, it would be 60 million won. Even if you exclude the 5% commission, that’s over 55 million won.
“Do you want to climb higher?”
There was less than an hour left, but somehow it felt like it was going up. Ming Hu swallowed hard again and closed the trading status window.
“Now what?
At some point in the future, we’ll have 200 million. Money is solved. I was wondering what to do next.
“Ah, Mr. Wolcha!”
Suddenly, Myung-hoo’s mind flashed back to Wolcha, who had invited him to break the quest together.
“Mana…”
Ming Hu muttered something short and began to walk toward the corner.
Siaak
Reaching the corner, Ming Hu used Himise’s promise to create a portal, then walked quickly through it.
* * * * *
“Honey!”
“Call me Luna!”
Wolcha and his wife Luna were currently hunting a bear.
-Woof!
The bear swung its arm wildly at Luna. Luna quickly ducked backwards, dodging the bear’s attack and slashing at the bear’s arm.
Squeak!
-Woof!
I slashed at his arm, and the bear roared briefly, then ducked back and lowered his stance.
“Get ready for your monthly vacation!”
Luna looked at the crouching bear and called out to Wolcha. In response to Luna’s call, Wolcha raised his shield, which was nearly as large as he was. As Luna raised her shield, Wolcha grabbed the sword she had been holding in one hand and held it up with both hands.
-Koohoo!
At that moment, the bear, which had lowered its stance, began to run toward Luna and Wolcha.
JERBUCKSWEEP
Wolcha took a step forward and held her shield up to her body, ready to receive the bear’s charge. Luna stared at the bear as it charged wordlessly from behind.
Boom!
“Suck!”
The moment the bear touched his shield, Wolcha flinched hard. He felt a cold sensation behind him and quickly leapt to the left.
Yikes!
Luna’s sword sliced across the bear’s head at high speed as Wolcha lunged to the left.
Squeak!
-Cure…
whisk
With a short roar, the bear fell flat on its back.
“…”
Wolcha swallowed hard at the thought that if he had been a second slower to throw himself, it would have been him, not the bear, who would have fallen.
“Luna, an attack like that should be cued or staggered a little bit…”
Sigh
Luna waved her sword gently in the air as Wolcha spoke.
“Don’t you believe in my abilities?”
“…I believe.”
Wolcha swallowed hard at the sudden chill she felt.
“Find it.”
At Wolcha’s words, Luna smiled and pointed her sword at the bear.
Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh
Wolcha rose from his seat, walked over to the bear, examined the carcass, and smiled broadly.
“It’s out.”
“So I don’t have to hold it anymore?”
“That’s it. Let’s go back to town.”
At Wolcha’s suggestion to return to the village, Luna shook her head.
“Let’s catch one more.”
“Why?”
Wolcha shook his head, because he’d already gathered all the materials he needed, and there was no point in hunting a bear that gave him so little experience.
“One more fish and we’re at 500.”
“…”
Wolcha looked at Luna wordlessly. Luna was looking around, her sword swinging gently.
“There it is.”
Luna spotted the bear and started running towards it. Wolcha sighed inwardly at the sight of Luna and began to run after her.
