Coming out of the store, Ming Hu stopped in his tracks, unable to believe his eyes. Ming Hu checked the money in his hand once more. There was over 30 gold in his hand.

Ming Hu let out a short sigh and thought back to what had just happened. Ming Hu went into the shop and took out the skin of the Great Fox, and he swallowed hard as he saw the change in Fern’s eyes. After examining the skin for a while, Fern looked very surprised, thanked him, and gave him 30 gold.

Bear pelts were worth 20 silver for inferior quality. To get 30 gold, you needed 150 pelts, but only one was needed for the higher grade.

Arriving in front of the Great Fox’s cave, Ming Hu looked at the cave and muttered to himself. It had been quite a while since he had captured it, but the Great Fox was a boss monster. It could take a day to regenerate, or even longer.

But as if to reassure him not to worry, a voice came from inside the cave. Ming Hu smiled at the sound and looked toward the cave, where he saw the Great Fox walking out.
“That treasure!”
Ming Hu walked out of the cave and ran toward the Great Fox, who had emerged.

The Great Fox looked puzzled as he saw Ming Hu running toward him, but then he quickly swung his front paws. Ming Hu didn’t dodge the paw as it flew toward him.
Puck!
The Great Fox’s forepaw struck Ming Hu, but Ming Hu didn’t care and charged at the Great Fox, punching him.

The Great Fox has fallen. Ming Hu smiled and looked at the fallen Great Fox, then checked the dropped items.
“Huh?”
Ming Hu was perplexed, for he could see nothing but leather. He looked again, wondering if he had missed something, but saw nothing but leather.
“I wonder if this is why quests have different difficulty levels…
I didn’t realize at the time why the quest difficulty was different. But now I think I know.

Ming Hu picked up the leather, then opened his character window and invested all of his bonus stats into strength.

Walking to the bear habitat, Ming Hu was a little surprised to find a bear wandering around. He hadn’t walked far when he realized the bear was already on the loose.
“That’s close.”
Ming Hu realized that the Great Fox’s cave was quite close to the bear’s habitat.
“…if only we knew the regen time.”
A smile tugged at the corners of Ming Hu’s mouth. Ming Hu walked toward the bear that was circling him and raised his fist. The moment he raised his fist, the bear’s eyes turned aggressive.

However, the punching that followed left the bear unable to fight back and fell to the ground.

After hunting for a while, Ming Hu picked up the item at the level-up prompt and stopped hunting. He turned his head in the direction of the Great Fox’s cave, opened his character window, and invested all of his bonus stats from leveling up into Strength.

After closing the character window, Ming Hu began walking toward the Great Fox’s cave.
