Chapter 71

Chapter 71

[You have successfully crafted black iron armor].
[Strong – Armorcrafting level increased to 6].
“Well, it’s fast because I’m building something new.”
Ming Hu smiled and muttered to himself as he received the long-awaited skill level increase message. Crafting a new type of item that he hadn’t crafted before certainly increased his skill level quickly.
Sigh
Ming Hu opened his inventory and added the black iron armor he had crafted. He looked at Gold and smiled once more.
“1 million gold…”
There was a whopping 1 million gold sitting in my inventory. In cash, that’s almost 10 billion. 9.6 billion without fees.
“It’s like you can really have your cake and eat it too.
It’s money you can really play with and eat with. The problem was that I made this money in such a short period of time that it felt weird and dreamlike, but I had no idea what to do with it or how to spend it.
‘I’ll have to catch up with you later to organize and think about it.’
This money was not going anywhere. Ming Hu decided to think about it later and went back to making black iron armor.
Boom!
[You have successfully crafted black iron armor].
Boom!
[You have successfully crafted black iron armor].
After making a few more pieces of black iron armor, Ming Hu stopped working. He had run out of materials.
“Let’s go to the parlor now.”
Ming Hu glanced at the gold in his inventory one more time, then pulled out a scroll and moved to Demesne.
Woof, woof, woof
“I’m looking for a dagger and bow for a 90 archer.”
“Digging through various navigational scrolls.”
“The Blueflame Guild is looking for guild members!”
There were still many users in the central plaza, and Ming Hu pushed past them and began to wander around, looking for the vendors of the gold bar.
“Buy an emergency item.”
“It’s Temsa!”
“We’ll give you the best deal on items!”
However, I didn’t see any vendors at the Gold Bar. It was all regular users buying quick items.
‘Where did it all go. Let’s go around one more time.’
Ming Hu once again circled the central plaza looking for it, but he couldn’t find it.
“Is it him?
Ming Hu remembered a user who had recently purchased an item from him. That user was also a Gold Bar vendor, but he was different: He knew that he was selling items to Gold Bar vendors. Even knowing that, he bought the items, hundreds of them.
“Do you remember who the first user was who bought the equipment?” He asked, and Ming Hu was frankly embarrassed by his question.
It was something you could find out by talking to your guildmates, but the fact that you had to ask yourself instead meant there was an ulterior motive.
Ming Hu didn’t know whether to tell him this or not. But when he saw how Ming Hu looked, he continued, “Are you the first person who has blond hair, looks a little shallow, and is as tall as me and a little skinny?” Ming Hu was a little surprised by the question. The user he was referring to was Golking, who had seen what he was selling from the beginning.
After debating whether or not to say yes, Ming Hu finally told him he didn’t remember, and he smiled, wished him well, and disappeared.
‘You can’t see it now.
But now I don’t see any of the gold bar vendors. Eventually he spoke up and everyone seemed to know.
“If so…
Ming Hu went about his business as planned, searching for common merchants.
“You’ll pay me more than a gold bar, right?
I vaguely remember thinking.
“Oh, great, can I have 110 gold?”
“Wow, is 105 gold possible?”
‘You’re hitting me harder.
Contrary to Ming Hu’s belief, however, most common merchants were more aggressive in their prices than those in the Gold Bar. A vendor is a vendor is a vendor, whether they belong to a large guild or not.
“Oh… I’d like to buy more, but now I don’t have any money!”
“We’re out of capital, sorry!”
On top of that, unlike gold bar vendors, Ming Hu didn’t have much capital, so he had to travel around and sell items to a lot of users.
* * * * *
The Guild House Breakout Room in Goldbar.
There, the leaders, including Lenin, now the Guildmaster of Goldbar, were gathered and talking.
“This is ridiculous!”
“Is that real?”
Each of the chiefs had a look of disbelief on their faces. The reason for their reaction was the item that Ming Hu had disposed of.
“One person sold that many items?”
“Yes.”
“Oh, you’ve got to be kidding me, where does a single user get thousands of items?”
“I’m not kidding.”
“Isn’t another guild involved?”
“It’s possible, but I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure there’s no Gundl Guild that knows we’re part of the Reaver Alliance.”
“Are you sure? Where would a single individual get that kind of equipment unless the Guild was involved?”
“Yeah, we can’t be 100% sure, but there’s a good chance the guild wasn’t involved…”
“And where do you think the user got all that equipment?”
“The most likely scenario is that it’s airlifted from a blacksmith shop in a remote village where the smiths aren’t mobilized and the users don’t know them.”
“What? Do places like that still exist?”
“There has to be, there must be a town we don’t know about. Maybe it’s in another country, since he’s been traveling back and forth through a portal.”
At those words, two of the hitherto silent chiefs opened their mouths and spoke.
“Well, then… What’s the problem? It’s going to show its limits at some point.”
“Right, so we buy all the gear the guild has now, and we can sell it off in bits and pieces, right?”
At that, Lenin smiled and said.
“It’s not all mine, I can’t spend it, and I wanted to get your opinion.”
“Eh, what the hell.”
“I don’t know how much.”
“If it’s not enough, say so!”
Lenin smiled as the chiefs spoke.
“Sure, let’s do that.”
At the end of the meeting, Lenin called a meeting of the guilds, who were worried about the overflow of unsold goods. The guilds quickly gathered to see what could be done, and when they were all assembled, Lenin spoke.
“For those who wish, I will buy back all of your swords for 100 gold per sack.”
Lenin’s words caused the guild members to panic for a moment. They had hoped that something would be done about it, but they were told that they could repurchase their purchases. Lenin’s words, that he would repurchase their purchases, but not at the same price, but at a lower price, left the guild members in a quandary.
Naturally, the guild members had a problem. They have a surplus of goods and can’t sell them. One day they will be able to sell them all, but if they wait for that day, the market price may drop, or worse, more will be released.
“I’m selling.”
“I’ll sell it.”
With tears in their eyes, guild members began selling their items for less than they had paid for them. Of course, not all of them did.
“Mine is selling well.
“Idiots, it’s reducing the volume on its own.
‘Ugh, stupid bastards, it looks like the executives are going to keep control of the item, so why sell it cheap, we can sell it later.’
Some guild members didn’t sell for different reasons; they watched the situation and went about their business.
* * * * *
Poof!
With a puff of smoke, the smithy disappeared and a blue orb appeared.
Sigh
Ming Hu picked up the blue orb from the ground and placed it in his inventory. He looked at the pile of equipment in his inventory and muttered to himself.
“It’s harder to sell than make these days.”
When I used to sell to gold bar vendors, it was really easy to sell, but nowadays, when I sell to regular users, I realize that it is not easy to sell Minghu.
“Go ahead and take the master.”
Right now, you’re spending all your time making and selling armor. But once you master the craft, you won’t have to spend this much time.
“Ehhh. Let’s go.”
Ming Hu pulled a scroll from his inventory. With a sigh, he used the scroll to travel to the main square of Demesne.
Jumbled
Arriving at the square, Ming Hu immediately began to move about in search of the merchants, but he was soon forced to stop.
“Buy an emergency item.”
“…Gold bars?
The gold bar marks were hovering over a user who was purchasing an emergency item. Ming Hu rubbed his eyes, wondering if he was looking at the wrong thing.
But he wasn’t mistaken. The gold bar still sat firmly on top of the user’s head.
“…done.
It doesn’t matter why it came out of nowhere. The user was shouting about buying an expedited item, and he had one to expedite.
“I can make a quick sale today.
For today, I don’t have to go around selling items to users. Ming Hu smiled and walked over to the user.
“Hello.”
“Hi. I haven’t seen you in a while.”
The user looked puzzled for a moment, but he quickly overcame his embarrassment and smiled at Ming Hu. Ming Hu immediately made a deal with the user.
“Do you have a lot of supplies today?”
The user said. Ming Hu nodded and posted eight items for sale, and soon reached a price he was happy with. Ming Hu clicked OK to finalize the transaction, and then went back to the user.
“Oh, I’m sorry. I’ve decided not to buy so much at once anymore.”
However, the user didn’t accept the trade, and Ming Hu was left slightly bewildered by the user’s subsequent comments, and could only stare blankly at the user’s back as he headed toward the auction house.
“Well, I can’t live like that again.
When he reappeared, I wondered if things had been resolved, but it seemed that they hadn’t. Ming Hu looked around with a disappointed expression on his face. The vendors of the Gold Bar had reappeared, but they were gone, too.
“It’s the same.
After spending a long time traveling around, Ming Hu sold all the items he had made and headed to the auction house with a disappointed look on his face.
