Chapter 336

Chapter 336

The three days went by quickly.
The non-processors bound for Adren were docked in the great plaza of Phileon Academy, waiting for students to board.
The sophomores crowding the plaza were all giddy with anticipation.
And for good reason.
He was going to the City of Dragons, a place most people wouldn’t be able to visit even if they died and woke up, just because he was a student at Pileon Academy.
Mate!
Prof. Varen Panasir, who led the school trip, claps his hands.
“Okay, okay. Don’t get too excited, everyone. We’re going to board the beanpole in reverse order!”
“Professor, how long will it take to get there?”
“We’ll be there in twelve hours or so, since it’s a fast non-fair. Once in Adren’s territory, you may encounter sentinel minions or hetzlings, so try not to excite them.”
Varen’s mane and belly puddled with every word he spoke.
He was the opposite of Zaifa, who still lived as a warrior.
The seventy-fifth failed dieter was now the richest man in Pileon.
He remained in the academy, even though he had already amassed enough wealth for his entire family to play and eat, purely because he loved teaching.
It’s so rewarding.
Varen’s gaze froze as he watched the students with a smile on his face.
“By the way, I’m worried about you, but I’m sure it’s no big deal—.
His gaze lingered on the girl in the center of the crowd.
The copper-skinned girl was snarling, looking like she was about to bite anyone around her at any moment.
It was an unintentional rejuvenation.
‘A transmogrification, I might actually be stronger than Jaifa now.
The younger Nabiroze was a teenage girl.
Of course, I wasn’t young enough to have a brain, so I could see clearly that I was sucking the chi out of the green students in real time.
I wish I could have done something to help, but I couldn’t.
I told my students that they don’t know what they would do if they were caught.
It was a common threat, but coming from one of the Empire’s top five swordsmen, it was a different story.
“I’m crazy. I’m crazy for saying that.”
Nabiroze muttered, wiping his forehead.
She pounded Jarodin for about five minutes before admitting that she had no alternative but to get behind the fan.
Her body, rejuvenated into a teenage girl, was clothed in the Pileon Academy’s martial arts underwear.
‘Damn. It’s empty down there.’
For almost the first time in his life, Nabiroze was feeling shame.
Shirts and blazers were tolerable, but bottoms were the problem.
I never knew a skirt could be such an airy garment.
Even in the middle of summer, she wears only long pants, so exposing her bare legs was an act of great mental strength.
‘Why in the world does she want to wear this?’
Due to the spill, Sunya’s clothes were a bit small for Nabirozé.
Inevitably, the contours of her body were revealed, and her characteristic heavy amniotic fluid drew attention to herself, even though she was more than half the size she was as an adult.
The students staring at her were a testament to that fact.
“Who is she? I’ve never seen her before.”
“She’s a distant cousin of Instructor Nabiroze. You look so much like her, I thought she was his daughter at first, so maybe that’s why—but she’s amazing.”
“She’s from the South–she’s got a nice face–should I go talk to her? My brother says it’s easy to pick up girls from down there.”
Nabiroze sighed.
Even if you went to a prestigious academy, males are males.
She was whispering so they wouldn’t hear her, but unfortunately she had better hearing than a wild rabbit.
‘They’re lucky, because normally I would have suspended them immediately for harassing a teacher.’
They were playing rock-paper-scissors to see who would get to talk to her.
Nabiroze glanced over and released a trace amount of flesh.
“Yikes! W-What is that?!”
“I can’t move—wait, wait, wait, you peed yourself!”
“What the hell is this—!”
It was a very weak kill, but it worked.
The unseen attack left the boys paralyzed.
At the same time, a stream of water burst up the pants of three people.
The muscles of the body that hadn’t been able to survive had relaxed of their own accord.
“Get away from me, you pissers!”
“Now, wait a minute Penny, I’m not cheap!”
“What a bunch of bullshit on a topic I’m still fighting over, get lost!”
The students around him screamed and ran away.
The three pissers tried to make excuses, but once the water started flowing, it wasn’t easy to stop.
Nabiroze felt a gaze on him and turned to face the front.
Varen, who had witnessed the proceedings, stared at her with a puzzled expression.
“Kyo, Instructor—?”
“Shhh.”
Nabiroze wordlessly raised his index finger to his mouth.
It was meant to be a moderate handoff.
Varen nodded and brought the students a pair of pants to change into, and they fled, unable to overcome their shame.
Nabiroze couldn’t help but giggle at the sight.
“—what I’m doing with the kids right now.”
I wonder if my body is getting younger and my mind is getting younger.
It was a childish behavior that I wouldn’t have done myself.
Soon enough, the airplane carrying all the students spread its wings and took off.
The first and last school trip of her life has begun.
****
“It’s been a long time. The City of Dragons.”
Nabiroze said to himself.
It was my first visit to the City of Dragons since the war.
She stood on the deck of the Unfair, watching Adren get closer and closer.
A giant floating island floated high above a cloud layer as wide as the ocean.
“It’s kind of cool.
Even for the world-weary Nabirozé, the view was spectacular.
The lunar glow from the full moon enveloped a sea of rain and clouds.
The wind was just right, and I loved the faint smell of the ocean.
She walked to the edge of the ship and leaned over the railing.
If I was alone, I would have laughed my ass off and lit a cigarette.
Nabiroze fiddled with the cigarette in his hand, wistfully.
“Hey, does anyone want to eat with you?”
“Hmm?”
Turning her head, Nabiroze’s eyes widened.
A familiar face was standing right behind him.
Dark hair and hazel eyes, inherited from his father.
A calm voice, reminiscent of your mother’s.
In his small but firm hands, he held a lunchbox.
She frowned.
“Lance.”
“What, do you know me?”
Lance shook his head.
I was told I was a transfer student, so I wondered how he knew me.
In fact, from Nabirozze’s perspective, it was a no-brainer.
He was Ronan’s child, and he was the student he was now teaching.
Nabiroze shook his head, not wanting to give anything away now.
“I heard about it from Aunt—.”
“Aha, so the rumors about your nephew being Instructor Navarro’s nephew were true, you do look alike.”
“What for?”
“Oh my God, you sound alike—nothing else, let’s just eat together. I’ve been watching you since earlier, and you’ve been keeping to yourself.”
Before I knew it, it was time for dinner.
Lance pointed behind him with his thumb.
Just below the main mast, a young red-haired girl sat in a stiff posture.
She looked familiar, too, from the different uniforms, so I assumed she was from the magic department.
The eldest daughter of Asher and Marja.
Scanning Nabiroze up and down, Sechika opened her axe-eyes and muttered.
“Who is that woman?”
His face and body were out of shape.
She growled with open hostility.
Lance asked, concern in his voice.
“Cechika. Are you sick? Didn’t you get it all out in the bathroom earlier?”
“Shut up, you idiot, don’t say that in front of everyone!”
“Oh my God, why are you screaming? If you have a stomachache, hold on a second, I’ll give you some medicine.”
“Kyaaaaah!”
Sechika, who eventually exploded, used telekinesis.
A spoon whistled past Lance’s ear as it flew across the wind.
Nabiroze’s heart sank a little when he saw that.
Because it was so obvious what the relationship was.
Lance scratched the back of his head.
“I’m sorry, she’s not like that.”
“I don’t care. It’s cute.”
“I’m glad you see it that way. You haven’t heard of Sechika from the magic department, I’ll introduce you to her right away—”
“Hey, Lance!”
Lance interrupted.
Suddenly, a voice called out to him from the aft side of the ship.
Two boys were waving at Lance.
“Ike, what time is it already?”
Lance blushed with embarrassment.
I could tell something had happened because the boys didn’t look too happy.
Lance, who had been staring at the boys and Nabiroze alternately, spoke up with an impassive tone.
“I’m sorry, I’m just going to stop by for a minute, why don’t you two eat, I’ll be right back.”
“It doesn’t matter.”
“Thanks. Come to think of it, I didn’t catch your name.”
“Call me Naro.”
“Okay. See you soon, me. Bye!”
With those words, Lance disappeared.
Nabiroze chuckled as he repeated the name Naro.
Still, I thought it sounded good for a name I made up off the top of my head.
“What, what, all of a sudden—.”
And things got awkward as hell.
Suddenly alone, Sechika panicked.
But only for a moment.
Accepting the situation, she said to Nabiroze.
“Ha, are you sure——, come here, don’t just stand there.”
Nabiroze did just that.
Seeing that she was empty-handed, Sechika unpacked his own lunchbox and held it out.
Inside was enough food for two people.
“If you didn’t bring it, let’s eat. My name is Sechika, Sechika Caravel.”
Most of it was meat, so it looked like Marja had made it herself.
Nabiroze looked at his bento and raised a brow.
Aside from his wariness, he was a very nice kid.
Let’s help you out a bit.
She took a bite of the fried meat and opened her mouth.
“Don’t worry. I’m not interested in your boyfriend.”
“What, what?”
Sechika spit out the barley tea she was drinking.
She was able to carry on a normal conversation after several pats on the chest.
Wiping the corner of her mouth with her sleeve, she exclaimed in a furious voice.
“What are you talking about, she and I are not like that—!”
“I prefer a man who looks a little more inarticulate, and by the way, Lance, you look a little like your father. Even with an eyeball stuck in your ass, you’d be quicker than that one.”
Nabiroze sighed.
What people don’t realize is that he looks just like his father, Ronan.
Suddenly, she stretched out her index finger and poked Sechika in the side.
“I’ll tell you something good, come here.”
“Ouch!”
At that moment, Sechika twisted her body.
A sensation like an electric shock shot through my body, and a strange sound escaped my mouth.
Sechika, who had just regained her senses, blurted out.
“Gee, what are you doing, everyone’s looking at you—!”
“It’s called mana blood. You should be feeling better.”
“What? Uh—now that you mention it—.”
Sechika’s eyes widened.
It was like my body was loosening up.
Nabiroze snarled.
“I’ll show you the exact spot, and you’ll point out his mana blood every now and then. It’ll help, and you’ll get a chance to touch his body in a sneaky way.”
“You, you are so—!”
Cechika was stunned.
I’ve never seen a bitch like this in my life.
I can’t believe you’re here, giving me advice on the art of lovemaking.
She was silent for a moment, then clasped both of Nabiroze’s hands.
“You’re a nice girl, why don’t we be friends?”
“Friends?”
“I know. I needed a friend like you. You’re the first person I’ve ever met who makes it so intuitive and realistic!”
Sechika’s voice was genuinely emotional.
The sight was so cute that Nabiroze couldn’t help but giggle again.
Let’s make friends.
If you knew who I was, you’d scream.
When no answer came, Sechika shook her head.
“Do you—don’t you?”
“——No. Let’s do it, buddy.”
“Yay! Let me know if there’s anyone you like in Potions. They’re mostly a bunch of dudes, but there’s one who’s as cute as a bean in a drought.”
“Note.”
Nabiroze nodded.
Then he stood up.
His keen ears picked up on something unusual.
– So you don’t see— Navarrozze?
– It’s terrible—but we can back off.
The problem was that Navardose was being mentioned instead of something else.
The story was coming from the aft end of the ship.
Lance’s voice was intermingled in the three’s conversation.
“So—what the hell are these males up to?”
