Chapter 14

Chapter 14

“Where to start.”
Once inside the village gate, Ming Hu wondered where to go next. After a moment’s deliberation, Ming Hu began to walk toward Gatherer’s house. As Ming Hu walked to Gatherer’s house, he opened the quest window to see the quest.
<Hamur's Bottle 3
Hamur, the village's best hunter, has fallen ill. The village chief and medicine man, Gadergu, wants to brew a special medicine to cure Hamur's illness. The third and final ingredient is the inner parts of the great fox. Capture the great fox, get the inner parts, and bring them to Gadergu!
Difficulty Level: E
Quest Reward: ?
Quest Restriction: Minghu
Slightly decreased friendliness with Gaduggu and Hamur when refusing quests
"What's the reward?"
Ming Hu muttered as he looked at the question marks on the rewards. So far, the leather armor, gloves, and shoes didn't look too promising. But you never knew.
"Oh, right! Gloves and shoes!"
Then Ming Hu remembered the gloves and shoes in his head and quickly opened his inventory. As it turns out, he hadn't checked his inventory since he put them there. Ming Hu looked in his inventory to see the options for the gloves and shoes he had received from completing the quest.

Limit: Force 100
Physical Defense: 20-30
Strength + 10
Gloves made of bear pelts, quite tough and empowering.

Limit: Force 120
Physical Defense: 30-40
Strength + 20
The shoes are made of bear skin, which is pretty sturdy and gives you a boost.
“Oh.”
After checking the options, Ming Hu was a bit surprised; he knew the options for leather armor, so he wasn’t expecting much, but the options for gloves and shoes were quite good, unlike the leather armor.
“No gloves… no shoes…”
The gloves were better than the earth gloves he was currently wearing, but the shoes were ambiguous.
“It’s agility or strength.”
I had to choose between agility and strength. Of course, the choice was already made. Ming Hu put on his leather shoes and opened the character window.

Ming Hu looked at the character window and smiled. A short time later, Ming Hu arrived at Mr. Gadagu’s house, closed the character window, opened the door, and stepped inside.
“What’s up?”
Once inside, Gadagu stood up to greet Ming Hu. Ming Hu walked over to the greeter and offered a simple greeting.
“Here’s the endan.”
Ming Hu took the inner circle from his inventory and placed it on the table. Gadagu looked back and forth between him and Ming Hu, quite surprised, before reaching for the saber and saying, “I’ll take it.
“You’re amazing, you saved Nathan so quickly.”
[You have completed the quest].
Ming Hu looked at Gadagu with a wordless smile.
“What do you want to give me?
At first, I wasn’t expecting it, just in case, but it was literally just in case, but not now. After checking the option for leather gloves and shoes, Ming Hu was too excited about the reward with a question mark.
“Thank you, now I can make a medicine to cure Hamur’s illness, just wait a little while.”
With those words, he entered the room. Ming Hu swallowed hard as he watched the visitor enter.
“…?”
But time passed and he didn’t come out. Ming Hu thought about knocking on the door.
Profit
But the door soon opened, and when Gadergu walked out, Ming Hu swallowed hard and focused his gaze.
“Sorry, it took longer to manufacture than we thought.”
Ming Hu was momentarily flustered, and it wasn’t because of Gadagu’s statement that he had made the medicine. Ming Hu looked at Gadagu’s hand.
“…what is it?
In Gadergu’s hand was a single potion, one that he had apparently brewed to cure Hamur’s illness, and that was all. There was nothing else in Gadergu’s hands except the potion.
“You…”
It was then. Gadergu handed the potion to Ming Hu and said, “I’ll tell you what.
“Would you take this to Hamur for me?”
<Hamur's Medicine
Hamur, the village's best hunter, has fallen ill, and the village chief and medicine man, Gadergu, has concocted a special medicine to cure him. Bring this special medicine to Hamur, made from the liver of a rabbit, the gallbladder of a bear, and the inner lining of a great fox!
Difficulty Level: F
Quest Reward: ?

"..yes"
Ming Hu stared for a moment at the potion Gadagu was trying to hand him, then nodded and answered.
[You have acquired a special medicine from Gadagu].
[You have accepted the quest].
'No way. It can't be.'
After being handed the potion, Ming Hu continued to stare at Gatherer, expecting this to be the end of it, but Gatherer's next words brought him to a realization.
"Goodbye!"
Ming Hu smiled bitterly. Then he pushed open the door and started walking toward Hamur's house. Hamur's house was fairly close to Gadagu's house, so Ming Hu soon arrived at Hamur's house.
Profit
Opening the door and stepping inside, Ming Hu could find Hamur and his son sitting on the bed.
"Hello."
Ming Hu smiled at Hamur's son as he greeted him, then turned to Hamur, who was sitting up in bed.
"Umm… you're…"
"It's called Minghu."
To Hamur, who stared at him with a pained expression on his face and a look of recognition on his face, Minghu introduced himself briefly and pulled out a potion.
"This is the medicine the chief made, and he told me to bring it to you."
With that, Ming Hu took the cap off the potion. As he removed the cap, a strange odor from the potion began to fill the room.
"Here it is."
Ming Hu gave the potion to Hamur.
[You have completed the quest].
When you handed the potion to Hamur, a quest completion message appeared. Ming Hu checked the quest completion message and looked at Hamur.
"Hmmm."
Taking the potion from Ming Hu, Hamur stared at it for a moment, smelled the strange odor emanating from it, and then gulped it down.
"…suck"
Hamur frowned, a pained expression on his face. He coughed out a short groan and coughed up black blood.
"Huh."
After coughing up the blood, Hamur took a moment to catch his breath and smiled. The pain on his face was gone.
"The chief's medicine is amazing!"
The potion was so potent that Hamur's condition was very different from before he drank it. Hamur stroked his son's hair and looked at Ming Hu, who was upset at the blood he had vomited.
"Let me formally introduce myself, I'm Hamur."
"It's called Minghu."
"I've heard so much about you from the chief, you've been getting me the ingredients I need to make medicine, thank you so much!"
Ming Hu smiled wordlessly at Hamur's words. Hamur smiled back. Then he whispered in his son's ear, "Moor.
"Yes!"
Then Hamur's son smiled broadly and scurried off somewhere.
"Give me a minute."
"Oh, yeah."
"Is it a reward?
Ming Hu thought as he answered Hamur's request to wait, then swallowed hard as he saw the small box Hamur's son was carrying.
"Here!"
Hamur took the small box from his son. He opens it, searches for something, and pulls out a simple brown bracelet with no symbols.
"Thank you so much, this is my little castle."
"Oh. Thank you."
[You have earned the Earth of Patience Bracelet].
"Huh?
He was a little disappointed by its ugly appearance. But when Ming Hu saw the name of the bracelet in the item claim message, he swallowed hard and put it into his inventory.
"I'm going to get some rest now, see you later."
Hamur's words were followed by a quick nod from Myung-Hoo, who stepped outside and pulled the bracelet from her inventory to check her options.
<Earth Bracelet of Patience [Rare

"Oh."
After checking the options, Minghu let out a short exclamation. The options were pretty good. Strength is strength, but I really liked the fact that it gave me a much-needed health boost.
"Five up."
I was still not leveled up enough to wear it, but leveling up was a breeze.
"Let's go."
Ming Hu muttered as he placed the bracelet in his inventory, then opened the quest window to see what quests were left.
